DIY-ing is all the rage – with wildly successful books, blogs, brands focussing on creating something more tailor made. Whenever I purchase something, especially if it’s a more expensive and well thought out item, I love to be given the option to customize and personalize (Louis Vuitton, for example, has been doing this well for years and years).
The way we decorate the place we live in and the car we drive are a fun extension of what we wear and are a perfect arena to experiment with DIY’s and customizing as well. That’s where the upcoming event comes in, for all of you ladies who drive a car (how mature!) or love putting together fragrances. Opel ADAM – which you can customize from the rims to the roof to the interior and exterior – is hosting an event where you’ll be able to create your very own car fragrance. There will be a professional perfume maker to help you create your own fragrance that you’ll be able to take home as a stylish sample to hang in your car. The glam DIY event will be held this Sunday on February 10th from 12.00-18.00 in the ADAM store on Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal 262 in Amsterdam and any of my Dutch readers are free to join in!
