From Paris Fashion Week

Sending you lots of love and macarons from an insanely hectic, fantastic, fun Paris Fashion Week! On the first night here I visited the huge H&M event with all the worlds fashion and movie stars and even did a little dance with Cara Delevingne and Lindsey Wixson. I'll tell you all about that soon. Best. Fashion Week moment. Ever.

Right now I'm on my way to go backstage at Roland Mouret - extremely exciting (and equally intense since I've been working until 02.30 at night. See, Fashion Week isn't a holiday but with better clothes). After that I'll meet up with friends (I'm here with Cindy and Chantal) for coffee and croissants and jump in a cab to go backstage at Isabel Marant! I couldn't be more excited. I'll be doing an interview for ELLE and photograph the toppest of top models getting ready for This chick's got style. Keep you posted! Bisous, Yara

In the city

Recently I met up with The Styleograph to shoot together in the streets of my city. Christian turned out to not only be a great photographer - he travels all over the world to capture the well dressed - but fun company as well. I'm excited to show you this floral bomber that I think is insanely cool, comfy and well made and is exactly what I had been looking for. Can't wait for spring to arrive, so I can repeat wear it to death.

PS. I just got back from my spontaneous road trip to Paris and unfortunately didn't manage to post from there. I feel like a terrible blogger! A lot of posts are planned now and I'm closing off the year tomorrow with my best buys of 2012 and a little video! Bisous!

A Wang affair

This was one of those days where optimism took over me and I figured I could easily step out baring a tiny bit of skin (hence the shoes). It actually wasn't as Siberian as it looks in these shots, we even had some sun, but I guess my denial of winter isn't working from here on. Ah well, the love for my new Wang bag keeps me warm from the inside ;) And this sun bleached shade of red reminds me of those endless summer days as well. The shade is a major player in H&M Trend's upcoming collections (remember the s/s 2013 post?) and in my opinion looks good on almost everyone. Anyway, sorry for not posting yesterday, the press trip to Dublin kind of swallowed me up. Expect a big travel report tomorrow (and the Q&A answers this weekend... at last!)

You again

Yup, those Kooples jeans again. They're just so comfortable and I don't see the point of buying clothes if you're not going to repeat-wear them. And I took out my fluffy neon wear because, well, fluffy. Remember I wore it in a full on neon yellow outfit during last Paris Fashion Week? Now that's commitment for ya! 

ps. These pics are a bit blurry because some dude decided it's winter time now and it should get dark even sooner hence longer shutter times. If anything is shaky it's not my intern Eefje's photo skills (she's awesome, I really hope you enjoy the pics she's been taking lately!) but because I need to practice my statue standing skills.
