A big, fat, huge thank you!

 A little while ago I passed 15.000 followers on Bloglovin. I vividly remember, four years ago, creating an account on a random evening and hitting that orange 'publish' button for the fist time. Not even in my wildest daydreams could I imagine having all of you around at this point. 
Reaching 15.000 followers on my blog last month felt like a milestone for me and is so encouraging. It gives me butterflies, makes me go to work happy and, most importantly, gives me a perfect excuse to do a crazy happy twirling dance. (Much to the dismay of my intern who I flashed a tiny but cheek while twirling around. Ah, well). 

Thank you from the deepest bottom of my heart for your continuous support and for reading This chick's got style on a daily basis. No words can describe how grateful I am to have you around.

Dressed for memories

Whenever I see this plaid shirt dress, I'm reminded of when I was in Miami, where I always threw it on. We pretended every day was a Sunday, with long brunches of pancakes and Mimosa's, going to baseball games decked out in Miami Marlins gear, ice cold frappucino's that give you a brain freeze, the sun burning on my blonde hair, the pastel painted streets in Miami, endless car drives and my red nailed toes in the sand. I recall just being so happy and relaxed and the fact that a piece of clothing makes me travel back in time a little, makes it that much more than something superficial or a bunch of fabric sewed together.

This chick's got style on Instagram

Because there are actual people that don't consider their iPhone 5 a body part (what?!) and therefore don't have it glued to their hands, here's a cozy little scrapbook of what happened on the massively addictive Instagram lately. Snaps include peeks at my interior decorations - I now have a thing for two or three big, fresh flowers like the lilies shown above, an enormous Sephora palette, my berry and banana smoothie recipe, a childhood picture of me (insert collective 'ahhww'), a part of my office look, and my oxblood PS11 with matching faux fur. PS. I'll probably be back to a daily blog posting rhythm as of this week :) thank you for your patience during the past few days, and for understanding health is a huge priority. I'm doing slightly better but the arm pain is kind of exhausting, yikes. Retail therapy and your ongoing support are massive helpers ;)
